The exhibition offers a panorama of installations borrowed from the repertoire of science fiction: visual and sound installations, machines, 3D videos, robots, video games and more.

By combining scientific research and contemporary artistic creation, some works have developed a “paranoid” vision of the contemporary world that both reflects its evolution and the society envisioned by the “Cyber Punks”, of which William Gibson is the precursor.

This exhibition will present us with an imaginary, funny and frightening vision of a futuristic society perpetually questioning itself. Through new technologies, French, German, American, Belgian, Canadian, or even Dutch artists will invite you to enter into dialogue with machines, through works that will appeal to all the senses.

SFR Young Talents is invited for the second time by lille3000 to the Gare Saint Sauveur for a new photo exhibit coinciding with the “Paranoia” exhibition.

Throughout the year, the SFR Young Talents community organises regular contests that enable the winners to participate in major, unmissable cultural events, on the greatest stages and in exhibitions in the fields of photography, music and comics.

A call for creative works was launched in February on the SFR Young Talents web platform on the topic of the “Paranoia” exhibition. The three winners will be displayed at the Gare Saint Sauveur from April to August.

Coinciding with Paranoïa, the Rencontres Audiovisuelles organise the Game Art exhibition. Presented for the first time as part of the 7th Fête de l’Animation (17th to 20th March), Game Art questions, through films and artistic and interactive installations, our relationship to video games. Different ways to play video games, to use the joystick or even the player, give us a new apprehension of this media.
